Narrator Questions

 1. Who is your favorite narrator? What is your favorite narration?

My favorite narrator is Holden Caufield from The Catcher in the Rye. 

2. Tell readers about the novel and the narration.

The story details the young Holden Caufield across two days after he was kicked out of prep-school. The novel then describes his adventures and interactions in the city. All as he fights the phoniness of the world. 

3. Why is this your favorite? Why might others appreciate it as well?

Holden has a unique perspective compared to the rest of characters in the novel, being more cynical  and nihilistic. This is a nice contrast compared to many young hopeful protagonists.

       There is an epidemic of young boys who lack the desire to read. I believe that a social media campaign, specifically on Instagram, would be the best to spread the message that reading is an amazing activity. I believe Instagram is the best because most of the U of D student body is on the platform, so my message can reach the most amount of people. Because most students passively scroll through Instagram, when they see a post of a book, they can share it on their story for other people to see or save/screenshot it for later.       However, the important part is the way content will be shared. The account will run on a submission system where U of D students and faculty are encouraged to submit any books or articles they may have found interesting. What I Knew:     I knew the general state of the animation industry. Because of this, I knew there was a stigma against the medium that it was meant for children despite the many mature animated works. I was also aware of the general lack of respect animation faces at award shows like the Oscars and I also was aware that there has yet to be an animated movie to win best picture. Finally, I was aware of the rapid cancelation of many shows across streaming platforms as Inside Job, one of the mentioned shows, was canceled and I was very distraught. What I DIDN'T Know:      Most of my knowledge was surface-level. I was unaware of what made some projects more mature than others other than mature language or visuals.
